07.07.10 - The thing I love about my instrumental CD - TAKE IT IN - is that it seems to be timeless. Even though it was released in 2006, new folks are always “finding” this record and asking if they could use the music in one way or another. 06.09.10 - It’s so exciting when you’ve had a project out for over two years and folks are still contacting you to offer you radio play for one or more of your songs. Recently we were contacted by Growthtrac Radio, a marriage-focused, 24-7 Christian Contemporary music station serviced by Growthtrac Ministries. Since its inception, Growthtrac was a one-stop resource for marriage and spiritual information, but early on expanded its vision from a marriage preparation focus to an expansive Christian-marriage resource. 05.23.10 - What’s an artist to do with yet another KCCM Award for Acoustic Rock Artist of the Year? Celebrate! ...and that’s exactly what we are doing! The 2010 KCCM Awards hosted by KingCat Music were handed out at Mid-America Nazarene University in Olathe, KS on Saturday, May 22.  Artists were recognized for achievements in a variety of categories and fans still think Christopher’s acoustic style stands out in excellence. Although Christopher was unable to attend this year due to a scheduling conflict, he continues to be grateful and humble for the continued support of his music and ministry. 04.12.10 - Have you checked out the LIVE concert video featuring Christopher Ames and his band performing STAND UP at Breakout 2010? STAND UP (co-written by Chris and Sharmane Adams) is a hi-energy song about proclaiming your faith convictions. The song appears on Sharmane’s CD titled “Leap of Faith” and was also included on a short-run project recorded by Christopher Ames and his band especially for Breakout 2010. 04.07.10 - Although our fan base at FACEBOOK continues to grow, I’m still having a great time networking with thousands of fans at MYSPACE. Each week I meet new people who have just signed on to MYSPACE for the first time ever. We think it’s still a viable option in social networking even though FACEBOOK and TWITTER are getting a lot of attention these days. I’ve also recently joined a new networking site for musicians called NUMUBU. There are a variety of artists on this site from all over the world. I was recently recognized by NUMUBU as one of their TOP 10 UP AND COMING ARTISTS. It was a pretty nice honor considering some of the talent on this site. You can check it out here.

03.10.10 - A press release regarding my presentation EVERYDAY WITH YOU: An Evening of Marriage Renewal was recently highlighted in the Christian News Wire and landed in the inbox or numerous Pastors, Christian organizations, and media folk. We are hoping this exposure introduces the program objectives and will encourage churches and other venues that focus on marriage ministry renewal or restoration to contact us to book this event for couples in their church or organization. RMG received numerous entries that ranged from single line thoughts to long descriptive stories of love, commitment and faith. After reading each entry, Christopher Ames and the Remnant Music Group staff selected three finalists. The entries were posted on a special page attached to the Christopher Ames website and the public was encouraged to vote for their favorite submission. Top prize went to Stacie Rockhill of Syracuse, NY for her truly heartwarming story; not so much focusing on a fairytale romantic journey but a journey of trials, tribulations and how faith has kept them moving forward after 13 years of marriage. Second place went to Brian Winograd from York, PA, and third place went to Kathy Baucum of Lexington, IL. Honorable Mention goes to Kathy Anderson of Hillsborough, NJ.

For the last year and a half Remnant Music Group and Christopher Ames have been promoting the CD titled EVERYDAY WITH YOU. As Christopher travels the country he continues to hear stories not only of how his CD project resonates with couples, but also stories of hope, inspiration, joy and encouragement in keeping the commitment of love alive in a relationship.

What is it that you think inspires an unending love story? We’re looking for your thoughts and ideas. It may be one line or a brief essay. 08.17.09 - Jingle, Jingle, Jingle… Jingle all the way! Nope… it’s not Christmas, but just another exciting bit of “jingle” news from CHRISTOPHER AMES. Just recently, Christopher wrote and submitted a new jingle to the popular booking website GIGMASTERS as they were looking for jingle entries to help launch their new logo and website design. With only 30 seconds allowed Christopher Ames submitted a fun pop ditty called YOU NEED A BAND. After reviewing all the submissions, we just got word that Christopher Ames is a Top 10 finalist!!! 06.25.09 - ALL AGAIN (from the CD EVERYDAY WITH YOU) hit the Top 10 Music Download list on the Airplay Access site. This means country radio stations like the song and are adding it to their playlists!

06.11.09 - Momentum continues to build for ALL AGAIN since its release to country radio. As part of the ongoing promotion, Christopher Ames is now part of the MUSEREVOLUTION social network, a place for indie country and gospel artists, and their fans to unite. They are slow in building a network here, but Christopher is proud to be part of the grassroots efforts and especially grateful to the country market for embracing the song. Go check it out.

06.05.09 - Another new single from EVERYDAY WITH YOU has been released to radio! Just recently through a partnership with AIRPLAY ACCESS, the song ALL AGAIN was released to over 2500 COUNTRY radio stations. We’ve already had some great feedback and look forward to seeing where this song will turn up next. 05.13.09 - Nominations were announced today for the 2009 Syracuse Area Music Awards (also known as the SAMMY's) and we are excited to report that EVERYDAY WITH YOU has been nominated for POP ALBUM OF THE YEAR. 04.24.09 - The 2009 KCCM Awards, sponsored by KINGCAT Music were handed out on Saturday April 18th at Mid-America Nazarene University in the Kansas City area. Christopher Ames was invited to perform at the Concert of Friends/Awards Event and this year was recognized as SONGWRITER OF THE YEAR, for his distinguished work on his CD titled EVERYDAY WITH YOU, and also ACOUSTIC ROCK ARTIST OF THE YEAR (his third win in this category). Over the span of his music ministry career Christopher Ames has received six KCCM Awards. The KCCM Awards are an ecumenical event held annually in the Kansas City area. These awards recognize the achievements of artists represening a variety of musical styles/genres within the Christian independent music market.

04.06.09 - Christopher Ames was recently asked to sing the National Anthem and perform a post-concert at Faith and Family Night at the Syracuse Crunch Hockey Game on April 3rd. A packed arena was on-hand to see the Syracuse Crunch go head to head with the Rockford Ice Hogs. Fans unable to attend the game were able to watch it via pay-per-view on AHL LIVE on the internet where they even featured Christopher's national anthem appearance prior to the start of the game. The Hogs defeated the Crunch that night... but hey... there's always next year!

03.24.09 - An article featuring CHRISTOPHER AMES and the CD - EVERYDAY WITH YOU was recently posted on the website EASYLIVINGFRONTRANGE.com. EasyLivingFrontRange.com is the online portal that supports EasyLiving Magazine. 01.12.09 - Congratulations to CHRISTOPHER AMES for receiving two HONORABLE MENTIONS in the 2008 SONGDOOR INTERNATIONAL SONGWRITING COMPETITION. Christopher was recognized in the SINGER/SONGWRITER category for his romantic ballad titled LINGER, and was also recognized in the CHRISTIAN category for his song CHAMPION. 01.02.09 - The end of the year CRW (Christian Radio Weekly) Charts have been released, and we are excited to announce that CHAMPION from the CD-Everyday With You, hit the TOP 100 for 2008 on three different charts! The Global Inspo chart placed it at #67, the global CHR chart posted it at #72 and the global AC chart placed it at #88. This is actually great news when considering all the new music released last year! Christopher Ames co-wrote this song with Bob Halligan Jr and it continues to be a popular request at his LIVE concert events promoting Everyday With You and the journey of life and love in marriage!

08.30.08 - Christopher Ames has just been invited by the Mars Hill Radio Network to perform LIVE on the air as they broadcast from the 2008 NY State Fair on LABOR DAY. Annually, nearly 1,000,000 people from across the Northeast attend the Great New York State Fair to view the best in agricultural and livestock competition, top-name entertainment, the International Horse Show and much, much more. The NY State Fair runs August 21 - September 1.

08.25.08 - CHAMPION, the first radio single from Everyday With You, has climbed its way back up the CRW (Christian Radio Weekly) charts. Although it was released in June, the song recently picked up new momentum as new stations added it to their play lists and landed at #23 on the GLOBAL CHR chart and #24 on the GLOBAL INSPO chart. In addition, CRW is featuring a banner ad promoting the single on the daily e-newsletter for the entire last week of August.
